Fighting For Pleasure

It's been months since I left my Master, the guy who taught me martial arts. Learning martial arts was a new chapter in my life. It injected confidence, tolerance & respect in to my mind. It taught me how to over come difficulties and fears. Once I joined the club, they all started treating me as one of their own. It was a strange bond, a bond based on respecting each other. We fought with each other, sometimes hard ,but I rarely saw any anger. Fighting without getting angry with each other,It was so strange. There was this guy called Steven, he was a student of mine but at the martial arts training he didn’t give a shit about me being his teacher. His punches and kick were so hard and spot on. I fractured my ribs once, but I never blamed anybody for that. It was my fault; I should learn to protect my ribs. So I learnt to change myself before changing the world. There was another interesting character in my club. He was the deaf guy. It was amazing how fast he learn by watching movements and observing masters gestures. Once his father told me that he was turned down by many schools and clubs because he was deaf. Then there was this cute little girl Ann who fought with more than 15 guys to get her black belt. If you see her on the street you’ll never think she’s that strong. Fighting is 90% mind. It’s about controlling your fears and pain. She was the best example for that.
It’s not the size of the dog in fight, it’s the size of the fight in dog-MarkI really believe that. Oh, man I really miss that training.
